Heartbroken little girl pens emotional message to thieves who stole her pet goat
Florence Follen is urging the callous raiders to return her pygmy goat Judy after she was taken in the late-night swoop.
Appealing to their consciences the distraught youngster's begged them: "If you have her please return her to her home because we are very upset and worried."
Adorable Judy disappeared from her field at Pinefield Boarding Kennels and Cattery, Brandon, Norfolk, between midnight and 5am on April 10.
Three other adult goats and a baby were left behind. Mum Lucy Follen said Florence and her two other daughters, Ruby, eight, and Lily, 14, have been left heartbroken.
Mrs Follen said: "Every morning Florence wakes up and says 'I just want Judy to come home'.
"They all keep dreaming about her which is not good.
"People just don't understand.
"They have not just taken my pet, look what they have done to my children? It's heartbreaking."
The mother-of-three added: "Who would do something like this?
"I can live with a bike being stolen but this is my daughter's pet.
"Florence cannot understand why somebody would take Judy."
The animal-loving family have had the sweet 18-month old goat since January and love her to bits.
Mrs Follen continued: "Judy's beautiful - and is the most affectionate goat.
"She will let you give her a belly rub. Judy's a real sweetheart and she will just come up and sit on your lap."
She's issued an emotional social media appeal which has gone nationwide.
Florence, helped by big sister Ruby, decided to write a letter asking the heartless crooks to return "our baby".
Florence said: "I am five years old and I lost my little goat and I am very upset and I want her back."
Mrs Follen has alerted police.
She said she hopes the villains will simply drop Judy back at the kennels or somewhere else locally so that can pick her up.
Mrs Follen said: "There is no way she could have got out.
"I want the person to put her in someone's garden or somewhere in the town.
"I want Judy back safe. I just want her home.
"We have looked everywhere and we have heard nothing.
"I just feel like we are going to get her back. I am not giving up."
